There was a surprise result when twelfth rankedH.Americano (14-15) defeated higher ranked Racing A. (15-14) in Rio Gallegos 85-74 on Saturday. The former international power forward Gonzalo Torres (201-1994) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and forward Gonzalo Romero (196-1997) accounted for 17 points and 11 rebounds. H.Americano's coach Eduardo Japez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Matias Nunez (202-1995) came up with 17 points and 9 rebounds and forward Rafael Rosende (198-1997) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Racing A. in the defeat. Four H.Americano and five Racing A. players scored in double figures. H.Americano moved-up to tenth place. Racing A. lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost.
