LDD top team -Gimnasia CR (20-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat tenth ranked Union (11-11) in Santa Fe 90-83 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Union. Gimnasia made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. It was a great evening for Dominican swingman Angel Reyes (201-2002) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Martiniano Dato (188-2004) helped adding 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was Facundo Chamorro with 15 points and 4 assists and Estanislao Crespi scored 12 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Union's coach Martin Castellazzi rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gimnasia maintains first place with 20-3 record. Union at the other side keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost.
