We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Olivia where 12th rankedIndepend.O. (11-15) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Riachuelo (12-16) 80-76 on Wednesday. Riachuelo made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Riachuelo made 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American Anthony Young (200-1989, college: KWC) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Colombian forward Andres Ibarguen (200-1996, college: Angelo St., agency: Helping Ballers) who added 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Jorge Banegas (190-1993, agency: BIG) responded with 21 points and center Franco Barroso (207-1994) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Independ.O.'s coach Martin Gonzalez tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Riachuelo moved-up to twelfth place.
