Regular Season Round 12: Obera - Platense 71-88

There was an upset when higher ranked Obera (5-3) was defeated at home by fourteenth ranked Platense (4-4) 88-71 on Thursday. Platense forced 21 Obera turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Mariano Goicoechea (195-2004) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and Santino Mazzucchelli who added 23 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Spanish forward Tobias Reizner (203, college: Truman St.) with 13 points and point guard Milton Mousquere (173-2006) scored 8 points and 7 assists. Platense moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Instituto. Loser Obera dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Ferro. Platense will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Obera will play against Riachuelo (#10) and hope to secure a win.
