Not a big story in a game when 10th rankedFerro (6-6) lost to fifth ranked Quimsa (8-4) in Santiado del Estero 73-81 on Saturday. Quimsa made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Quimsa outrebounded Ferro 48-29 including 37 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by the former international guard Nicolas Romano (200-1987) who scored that evening 25 points and 6 rebounds and American center Arnold Louis (201-1990, college: SSU) supported him with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Even 16 points by Paraguayan center Leonel Bettiga (208) did not help to save the game for Ferro . Point guard Rodrigo Gallegos (186-1991) added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quimsa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Olimpico. Ferro lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with six games lost.
