The most exciting game of round 10 in the La Liga Argentina took place in La Rioja. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of their biggest opponentJujuy (2-2) to top-ranked Amancay (5-0) 72-71 in the game for the first place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jujuy. 25 personal fouls committed by Jujuy helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of center Juan Bollo (203-1992) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Guard Mauro Araujo (185-1994) contributed with 14 points and 5 steals for the winners. Four Amancay players scored in double figures. American Jeremy McLaughlin (203-1995, college: Catawba) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Milton Vittar (185-1991) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Jujuy. Jujuy's coach Fabian Daverio rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Amancay have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record, which they share with Lanus and Dep Viedma. Jujuy at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. They share the position with 7 other teams.
