There was no surprise in Buenos Aires where 5th rankedEl Talar (4-6) was defeated by third ranked La Union (7-3) 81-72 on Saturday. La Union made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Guard Matias Caire (188-1999) stepped up and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and point guard Guido Cabrera (188-2000) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Galo Terrera (178-1998) with 16 points and forward Matias Cuello (196-1991) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. La Union have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Racing A. and Centenario VT. Newly promoted El Talar keeps the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Pergamino.
