Regular Season Round 27: San Martin - Regatas 55-62

There was no surprise when 11th rankedSan Martin (12-12) lost to ninth ranked Regatas (14-13) in Corrientes 55-62 on Tuesday. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Charles Thomas (203-1986, college: Arkansas) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international Pablo Gramajo (193-1996) accounted for 6 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Swingman Lucas Gargallo (196-1995) came up with 11 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Federico Grun (191-1996) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for San Martin in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Regatas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Union. Loser San Martin dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Atenas.
