LDD top team -Independ.O. (23-4) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed nineteenth ranked Gimnasia CR (4-21) in Olivia 107-72 . Independ.O. dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Gimnasia CR 's 42. They outrebounded Gimnasia 58-32 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Jorge Garcia (200-2003) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Ezequiel Horen helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. Five Independ.O. players scored in double figures. Independ.O.'s coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Jose Copesky (184-2006) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and Natalio Santacroce scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Independ.O. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 23-4 record. Gimnasia lost fifth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the nineteenth position with 21 games lost.
