Quimsa was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Lourdes Briones orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized Italian point guard Regina Carosio (165-1986) contributed with 16 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Swingman Lorena Campos (171-1999) replied with 21 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Lucia Boggetti (162-1998) added 8 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Quimsa. Quimsa's coach Santiago Sayago tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
