Everything went according to plan in Santiago del Estero where seventh ranked Obera (17-8) beat 18th ranked Quimsa (5-21) 79-61 on Sunday. Obera dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Quimsa's 22. The best player for the winners was Colombian point guard Edwin Niebles (178-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists.
