LeaderIndepend.O. delivered the twenty seventh victory. This time they crushed 18th ranked Quimsa (6-25) 115-63 in Santiago del Estero. Independ.O. dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Quimsa 's 26. Independ.O. forced 25 Quimsa turnovers and outrebounded them 49-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. Independ.O. players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Quimsa 's players. Quimsa's coach Marcelo Zanni gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Independ.O. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 27-5 record. Quimsa at the other side keeps the eighteenth position with 25 games lost. Independ.O. will play against San Martin (#15) in Corrientes in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Quimsa will play at home against the league's second-placed Obras and hopes to get back on the winning track.
