Quarter-Finals Round 2: Quimsa - Obras 88-65
Date: June 8, 2025
Quimsa dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Obras ' 26 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Bruno Sansimoni (194-1996) notched 20 points and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American Brandon Robinson (196-1989, college: Clayton St.) supported him with 23 points. Even a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds by American forward Chris Clarke (196-1996, college: Texas Tech, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Obras . The former international Marcos Mata (202-1986) added 16 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
