The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Buenos Aires:Obras (#7) and Boca Juniors (#3). Obras (4-2) won against visiting Boca Juniors (4-3) 93-81 . The best player for the winners was American guard Ty Sabin (190-1994, college: Ripon) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Federico Zezular (198-2001) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Obras' coach Guido Fabbris used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Agustin Barreiro (205-1999) who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds and added 17 points and 14 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Obras moved-up to fourth place. Defending champion Boca Juniors dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Obras' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Buenos Aires to the arena Ferro.
