Very expected game when 8th rankedEl Bigua (3-11) was smashed by third ranked Ferro (8-3) in Buenos Aires 76-55 on Tuesday. Ferro forced 22 El Bigua turnovers. Dalma Piri nailed 21 points and 5 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Giuliana Baccarelli (165-2004) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Maria Jourdheuil came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively for El Bigua in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains third place with 8-3 record having nine points less than leader El Talar. Newly promoted El Bigua keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Riachuelo.
