The most exciting game of round 17 in the LaLiga Femenina took place in Florida. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 5th rankedUnion Florida (6-7) to second ranked Obras (10-3) 63-62 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Union Florida. They outrebounded Union Florida 45-31 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Candela Gentinetta saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. The former international power forward Agostina Burani (186-1991) contributed with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Sol Depetris answered with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and added 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Union Florida. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Obras maintains second place with 10-3 record having five points less than leader El Talar. Union Florida at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Rocamora and Gorriones.
