The game in La Rioja supposed to be quite interesting. Seventh rankedQuimsa (7-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Riachuelo (3-13). Quimsa smashed Riachuelo 69-42 on Wednesday. Quimsa dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Riachuelo 's 26. Quimsa forced 30 Riachuelo turnovers and outrebounded them 53-39 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lorena Campos stepped up and scored 18 points and 4 steals for the winners and Sabrina Molina chipped in 8 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Ornella Santelli with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Florencia Ortiz (160-2000) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Quimsa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gorriones. Riachuelo lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost.
