Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedUnion Florida (7-12) outplayed at home 7th ranked Independiente (5-13) 81-62 on Monday. The winners were led by Ana Britez who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Mia Dellepiane supported her with 19 points. Four Union Florida players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Independiente . Guard Julieta Tell (172-1993, agency: BIG) added 16 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Union Florida maintains fifth position with 7-12 record. Newly promoted Independiente keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost.
