UndefeatedInstituto (3-1) recorded its first loss in Cordoba. Hosts were defeated by twelfth ranked Gorriones (2-3) 71-60 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Instituto. Worth to mention a great performance of Uruguayan guard Joaquina Gregorio (168-2001, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 rebounds. Jacqueline Soto (-1997, agency: BIG) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) answered with 16 points and 6 assists and forward Brisa Perez (165-2000) added 13 points in the effort for Instituto. Instituto's coach Ignacio Correas rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Gorriones moved-up to eleventh place.
