Very important is a home loss of third rankedBerazategui (3-1) against seventh ranked Union Florida (4-1) on Sunday night. Host Berazategui was defeated by Union Florida in a tough game in Buenos Aires 51-55 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Berazategui. It was a key game for the second position in the league. They outrebounded Berazategui 39-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for guard Natalia Tondi (170-2003, college: VCU) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 8 rebounds. Paraguayan center Ana Britez (174-2002) helped adding 5 points and 8 rebounds. Union Florida's coach Nicolas Grosso used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Luz Andujar (173-2005) responded with 8 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Sofia Acevedo (167-2001) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Union Florida . They moved-up to second place, which they share with Hindu. Loser Berazategui dropped to the sixth position with one game lost. They share it with Instituto.
