There was an upset when higher rankedPlatense (13-7) lost to fifteenth ranked Quimsa (7-14) in Florida 63-74 on Tuesday. Quimsa outrebounded Platense 44-30 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Romeo Amprimo who led the winners and scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Patricio Cogliati (203-2006) accounted for 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. Giovanni Pappalardi came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Joaquin Goncalves added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Platense in the defeat.
