There was a small surprise when seventeenth rankedLanus (2-7) won against at home 15th ranked Rocamora (1-7) 65-47 on Thursday. Lanus forced 28 Rocamora turnovers. Power forward Camila Peri (182-2000) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and guard Berenice Lopez (168-1999) accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Nerea Schmidt (174-1995) came up with 9 points and 11 rebounds and guard Paula Santini (165-2006) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Rocamora in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lanus moved-up to fourteenth place. Rocamora lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth position with seven games lost.
