Leading Provincial (18-6) recorded its sixth loss in Buenos Aires. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Lanus (14-10) 75-71. Lanus outrebounded Provincial 44-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. American swingman Michael Henry (198-1995, college: Buffalo St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and Edgar Merchant (200-2002) accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Federico Gobetti (192-1999) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Gonzalo Torres (201-1994) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Provincial in the defeat. Lanus maintains seventh place with 14-10 record. Provincial at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
