Very predictable result in Santiado del Estero where fourth rankedHindu (9-4) defeated 9th ranked Quimsa (6-5) 71-61 on Sunday. Hindu forced 24 Quimsa turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international center Malvina DAgostino (184-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Aylen Valdez (183-1997) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Four Hindu players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Lorena Campos (171-1999) who recorded 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Lucia Boggetti (162-1998) added 7 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Quimsa's coach Matias Bejarano rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hindu moved-up to second place, which they share with Ferro. Quimsa lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. Hindu will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Quimsa will play against Gorriones (#9) in Rio Cuarto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
