The game had a very big importance for second-rankedAmancay as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Amancay defeated 15th ranked Hindu in La Rioja 83-77 . Amancay outrebounded Hindu 42-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American center Jonah Underwood (206-1996, college: HIU) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Fabricio Peralta contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Underwood is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Carlos Buemo (194-1996) answered with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Joaquin Folmer (192-2006) added 17 points in the effort for Hindu. Five Hindu players scored in double figures. Hindu's coach Daniel Beltramo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with C.Entrerriano and San Isidro. Hindu lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with 20 games lost.
