There was a small surprise in Mercedes where tenth rankedComunicaciones (16-14) won against 7th ranked Jujuy (17-15) 84-68 on Friday. Comunicaciones outrebounded Jujuy 41-30 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Tomas Allende (190-2002) fired 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Raymon Bastardo (202-2002) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Francisco Tarnowyk (192-2001) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Ramiro Stehli (190-2002) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Comunicaciones have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Racing A. Loser Jujuy keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost.
