Quarter-Finals Round 1: Instituto - Ferro 43-84
Date: April 19, 2026
Ferro forced 23 Instituto turnovers and outrebounded them 42-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Ferro looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Instituto 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ferro made 7 blocks. The former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-1986) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and center Julia Fernandez (185-2004) chipped in 10 points. At the losing side point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) responded with 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and the former international power forward Giselle Botta (180-1999) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
