The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bridgetown:Pinelands (#1) and Tridents (#5). Pinelands (11-0) smashed visiting Tridents (4-8) by 67 points 117-50 . Pinelands dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Tridents ' 38. Pinelands forced 19 Tridents turnovers and outrebounded them 52-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. Pinelands looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Tridents ' players. Guard Rasheed Maynard (188-2000) had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Deroni Hurley (175-2001) chipped in 30 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Five Pinelands players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Nayiib Browne responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Antoine Winter scored 11 points. Tridents' coach C. Edwards gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Pinelands have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-0 record. Tridents at the other side keep the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Lakers.
