Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Bridgetown:Celtics (#2) and Pinelands (#4). Pinelands were crushed at home by 24 points 74-98 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pinelands. Celtics forced 22 Pinelands turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Celtics brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The former international guard Deroni Hurley (175-2001) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Derion Hurley contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Celtics players scored in double figures. The former international Carl Thorpe (201-2001, college: York, NE) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and guard Rachad Hall (183) added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Pinelands. Pinelands' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Celtics have a solid series of four victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Cavaliers lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Pinelands at the other side keep the fourth place with five games lost.
