The game between Top Four teams took place in Santiado del Estero. First ranked Argentinian host Quimsa (5-1) defeated second-ranked Brazilian Minas (3-3) 83-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Minas. Quimsa made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Minas 40-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by American Brandon Robinson (196-1989, college: Clayton St.) who scored that evening 29 points and Mauro Cosolito (192-1988) supported him with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Even 24 points and 7 rebounds by Wesley Ferreira (200-1995) did not help to save the game for Minas. Power forward Renan Lenz (207-1990, college: Utah) added 10 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quimsa maintains first position with 5-1 record. Minas at the other side keep the second place with three games lost.
