Halcones UV Xalapa was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game.Flamengo made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Argentinian point guard Franco Balbi (188-1989) fired 19 points and 7 assists for the winners. Gabriel Galvanini (202-1998) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) produced 26 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Daniel Bejarano (193-1991, college: Colorado St.) added 23 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Halc.Xalapa players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
