An interesting game for ArgentinianObras (1-5) which hosted in Buenos Aires second-ranked Brazilian Flamengo (2-4). Third ranked Obras managed to get a 10-point victory 85-75 . The winners were led by point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) who scored that evening 19 points and 6 assists and Federico Zezular (198-2001) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Even 22 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!) by Argentinian forward Alex Negrete (192-2001) did not help to save the game for Flamengo . American guard Shaquille Johnson (191-1990, college: Marshall) added 16 points for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Obras maintains third position with 1-5 record having five points less than leader Sesi/Franca, which they share with Univ.Concepcion and Aguada. It was Flamengo 's third loss in a row. They keep the second place with four games lost.
