Hurricanes dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Western Ballaz's 42. They outrebounded Western Ballaz 71-43 including a 26-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American point guard Kris Frazier (201, college: Peru St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds and the former international Kirk Smith (-2000) supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Four Hurricanes players scored in double figures. Even 26 points and 9 rebounds by American swingman Mark Gordon (196, college: Keiser) did not help to save the game for Western Ballaz. His fellow American import power forward Richard Smith III (206-1992, college: California, PA) added 10 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks for the hosts. Western Ballaz's coach rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hurricanes have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Western Ballaz keeps the sixth place with six games lost.
