There was no surprise when 15th ranked Caxias do Sul (3-14) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (12-5) 71-63 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-63. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Alex Garcia (190-80) who scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. International point guard Alexey Borges (185-95) chipped in 16 points. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Pedro Lima (191-87) who recorded 16 points and 9 assists and the former international swingman Antonio Ferreira (200-94) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively.
