Fifth-ranked Blumenau (6-6) gave a tough game to third ranked Santo Andre (11-3) on Sunday. Santo Andre managed to secure only two-point victory 64-62. However their fans expected easier game. The former international point guard Lays Silva (167-1998, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and power forward Glenda Cruz (182-1994) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks.
