Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Paulistano (9-0) outplayed 11th ranked Uniao Corinthians (1-8) in Sao Paulo 70-47 on Sunday. Paulistano held Uniao Corinthians to an opponent 21.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Uniao Corinthians 57-36 including a 42-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by forward Silvio Neto (199-2004) who scored that evening 15 points and 6 rebounds and Henrique Seixas (194-2003) supported him with 15 points. Even 21 points and 9 rebounds by guard Gabriel Camargo (194-2001) did not help to save the game for Uniao Corinthians. Rogerio Bittar (195-2002) added 7 points.
