Paulistano shot 60.3 percent from the field. Paulistano outrebounded Paschoalotto/Bauru 38-21 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Paulistano looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Vitor Silva (188-2004) who scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Lucas Siewert (208-1997, college: Colorado) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Paulistano's coach Demetrius Ferraciu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international center Andrezao Barbosa de Abreu (213-2002) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Dontrell Brite (175-1994, college: Mount Olive) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively for the hosts.
