Regular Season Round 10: Temuco - Puerto Montt 95-92

Fifth-ranked Puerto Montt (3-8) was very close to win a game against second ranked AB Temuco (7-6). AB Temuco managed to secure only three-point victory 95-92. However their fans expected easier game. AB Temuco players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Jamaican-American center Anthony Allen (213-92, college: OK State) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Josef Krause (193-87) chipped in 22 points during the contest. At the losing side American forward Josh Morris (203, college: UTPB) responded with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Pedro Sandoval (180-89) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Five AB Temuco and four Puerto Montt players scored in double figures. AB Temuco maintains second position with 7-6 record having just three point less than leader Las Animas. Puerto Montt lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with eight games lost. AB Temuco will play against Deportivo Valdivia (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Puerto Montt will play against the league's leader Las Animas and hopes to get back on the winning track.
