Undefeated Sergio Ceppi (3-1) recorded its first loss in Santiago. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Boston C. (2-2) 60-52. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sergio Ceppi. Boston C. forced 27 Sergio Ceppi turnovers. The former international center Catalina Lopez (184-84) nailed 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Francisca Rojas (176-93, college: Boston Coll.) accounted for 9 points and 7 rebounds. Pia Henriquez came up with 11 points and 7 rebounds and Javiera Alvarez (172-0) added 6 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Sergio Ceppi in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Boston C. moved-up to third place, which they share with Conce. Sergio Ceppi at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Univ.de Chile and New Crusaders. Boston C. will play against Vina del Mar (#5) at home in the next round.
