Second-ranked Manquehue (11-4) used its home court advantage to challenge top-ranked Sportiva Italiana (16-0) in Santiago on Friday. The visitors from Valparaiso managed to secure only two-point victory 75-73. However their fans expected easier game. 24 personal fouls committed by Manquehue helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Cristobal Rios (-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Gaspar Hernandez (-99) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners.
