Very predictable result in Santiago where second ranked Boston College (12-4) smashed 9th ranked Brisas (2-15) 80-54 on Saturday. They outrebounded Brisas 49-37 including 39 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Ivan Pacheco (-94) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Felix Ibarra (187-93) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Felipe Oyarzun (187-89) who recorded 14 points and Jorge Rodriguez (-92) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Boston College. They maintain second place with 12-4 record having six points less than leader Sportiva Italiana, which they share with Manquehue.
