Regular Season Round 4: Brisas - Stadio Italiano 59-73

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Santiago: Stadio Italiano (#3) and Brisas (#6). Brisas were defeated at home 59-73 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Worth to mention a great performance of Sebastian Reinoso (-1997) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and guard Cesar Belmar (-2002) who added 11 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Miguel Granados scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stadio Italiano (3-1) moved-up to second place. Brisas at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Boston College. Stadio Italiano will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brisas will play on the road against the league's leader Sportiva Italiana (#1) in Valparaiso and hope to get finally their first victory.
