Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago: Sergio Ceppi (#4) and Boston College (#6). Boston College was defeated at home 60-71 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Sergio Ceppi dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Boston College's 30. Sergio Ceppi forced 20 Boston College turnovers. Boris Guerra (-1987) nailed 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and forward Gabriel Gonzalez (-2001) accounted for 12 points and 11 rebounds. Lucas Marquez (196) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Cristobal Ordonez (195-2004) added 15 points respectively for Boston College in the defeat.
