The game had a very big importance for second-rankedAncud as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ancud edged 7th ranked Castro at home 84-82 . Ancud looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international point guard Franco Morales (181-1992) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. The former international power forward Juan Fontena (196-1987) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. American Justin Jackson (203-1990, college: Cincinnati, agency: AG Sports Solutions) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Latraius Mosley (198-1990, college: Life) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Castro at the other side dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. Castro will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Ancud will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Castro on the road.
