The biggest surprise took place in Valparaiso where hostSportiva Ita. (8-2) beat league's leader CDSC (7-1) 77-69 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of CDSC. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Sportiva Ita. forced 19 CDSC turnovers. The best player for the winners was Josefina Cortes (174-1998) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Catalina Perez (195-1997) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds.
