Regular Season Round 6: Brisas - Sergio Ceppi 47-76

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago:Sergio Ceppi (#5) and Brisas (#6). Brisas were smashed at home by 29 points 47-76 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Sergio Ceppi forced 27 Brisas turnovers. The former international forward Romina Valenzuela (178-1986) notched 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Paula Moya (-1990) supported her with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Sergio Ceppi players scored in double figures. Even 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by Estela Nahuel (-2006) did not help to save the game for Brisas . Belen Carreno (-2005) added 13 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sergio Ceppi (2-4) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gimnastico. Brisas at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost.
