Regular Season Round 7: Corsarios - Motilones 43-62

Another interesting game for Motilones (1-6) which played in Cartagena against Corsarios (0-7). Fourth ranked Motilones had an easy win 62-43. It was a great evening for international forward Leyder Moreno (195-2000) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Roydell Brown (198-1998, college: McNeese St.) helped adding 10 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side the former international guard Yesid Mosquera-Perea (198-1996, college: Life) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Carlos Morales (192) scored 10 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Motilones maintains fourth place with 1-6 record. It was Corsarios' seventh loss in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Motilones will play against league's second-placed Bucaros in Bucaramanga in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Corsarios will play on the road against the league's leader Piratas in Bogota and hope to get finally their first victory.
