Paisas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Brandon Weatherspoon (193, college: FAU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. The former international power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Paisas players scored in double figures. The former international forward Luis Almanza (196-1991) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) added 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Storm. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
