Paisas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American guard Ty-Shon Alexander (193-1998, college: Creighton) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Marcus Crawford chipped in 6 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists. Paisas' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side naturalized Venezuelan Hector Diaz (192-1992) responded with 17 points and Andres Bejarano scored 14 points.
