Paisas celebrated Liga Profesional de Baloncesto title. They beat Cimarrones in Game 3 of the championship series to sweep the Finals. It was a great evening for American guard Ty-Shon Alexander (193-1998, college: Creighton) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 9 rebounds. Eric Crawford helped adding 18 points. FivePaisas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Manny Camper (201-1999, college: Siena) with 24 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center John Hernandez (207-1984) scored 7 points and 14 rebounds.
